Tree climbing...

Hey there,
It has been a little while. Wherever you are is probably warmer then where we are =) Today's high is 48degrees. Yes I know it is May. For Mother's Day the forecast looks nice. It should be in the 60's. However it has been plenty warm to go outside and play. The other day the Tatum and Elyssa were having a blast on this tree that wee have right outside our house. They were trying to climb it. If you were there you would have been laughing hysterically. The things they were saying and the toys that they were trying to use to lift themselves up. It was funny! Titus was running around and he was not paying much attention to what they were doing. He saw it as an opportunity to try and ride the Girl's bike. He did not make it anywhere. But he was pretty content just sitting on it. And the pictures of him in the Lion's costume is from Thursday night visitation nursery. He was running around chasing all the girls growling at them....Hilarious... He loved the reaction he was getting. When I took it off of him he was such a sweaty little guy...Icky...But oh so Cute!

We got GREAT news about Tatum's eye last Friday. On her first appointment her vision was 20/100 and on her last appointment her vision was 20/50... PRAISE THE LORD. The Doctor said that it was tremendous that he had never seen results like that so quickly. We are thanking God for answer to our prayers. She is pretty excited. We all are excited. We have to continue patching the same way and he said that she can have a small break each day. Then back in on the 4th of June.

Things other than that are going wonderful here in Fargo. Joshua is still praying about re-enlistment and what to do in that area. Our EAS is September 9th. So if you think to pray for that we would appreciate it. We are just praying that the LORD would plainly show him his will, weather to get out or stay in. Either way in the next couple of months we will have some big changes coming. Always exciting. I should go for now. Hope all is well with all of you who keep up with us. Love and miss you wherever you may be!!!

Because of Christ,
Brittany and the Family

Vacation...

Joshua and I just arrived home on Sunday from our nine day trip to Tennessee for a Preaching Conference and Anniversary trip. It was amazing. We counted it as the honeymoon we never had. It was such a blessing, we went with some dear friends of ours that moved from there about a year ago. His brother has a house that he is in the processes of selling so we were able to stay there the whole week. It was great, no hotel expense and just to have a house for a week instead of a small hotel room was great. We were so thankful. I have to say, TN was one of the most beautiful places I have been. The weather was amazing the hills were gorgeous. It was an amazing trip. However we did miss the kids,so After we got home we took the kids up to Grand Forks for two days of water slide fun. At first I thought we were crazy. We had just driven for 18 hours and then were goin' to pack up and drive another hour and spend two days at a the little water park. I have to admit it was kind of. But we had such an awesome time with the kids it was well worth it. Today is our first day back to regular routine, and getting things back into order.
Everything is going great. As we were in Tennessee I started thinking about how close we are to starting our new adventure as a military family. As of right now Joshua plan's to re-enlist unless the LORD shows him something else. He is leaving the door open but going ahead with re-enlistment. Either way in the next 8 months things will start to change. It is always a little nerve racking but I am just trusting the one who knows everything. I have to say though it is most exciting. I love new adventures. It is hard to believe that May 1st we have been in North Dakota for two years. Recruiting is a two and a half year billet. Sometimes three. It has gone so fast.
Tatum has her next eye appointment on the 30th, I will let everyone know how that goes. Elyssa will be starting Kindergarten this fall. So we will be schooling two. YAY.... I am excited. Titus turns two on June 2nd... My oh my how that time has flown. Well here are some new pictures from our trip to TN and the Grand Forks...

Love,
Brittany

First Piano Lesson...

Have I mentioned lately how much I just LOVE being a Mother??? Well I do =) Today has been a great day. The Girls had their first piano lesson and loved it. It was only 15 Minutes long each. And they have homework. Just to see their little faces light up after was the most amazing feeling! Titus and I had some Mommy and son time. It was a blast. I never let the kids have MC Donald's so when they get it, it is a very big treat. Titus was mighty sad when we dropped his sisters off and he realized he was not going to attend their special outing. He cried and kept saying " I go, I go," Poor little guy. So I saw fit that this needed to be a special time for him also. Against my better judgment I let him have a cheeseburger and french fries. I must admit we had a grand old time =) We are all excited, Joshua has four days off because of Resurrection Sunday. YAY.... We are looking forward to some family time and then next week it is off to Tennessee. Can not wait. It is going to be an amazing trip! We are going for a week long preaching conference and kind of like an Anniversary trip. Things have been great. I am training for a half marathon, in May. Looking forward to that. Maybe next year I will run the whole thing. I am not sure though. I am not sure that I really ever want to run that far. For now I think 13 miles is far enough...LOL... We are expecting our first Thunder storm of the year tonight. Should be fun. Yay... The weather is warm enough to bring rain instead of snow. However it has been chillier today than the past few that is why we may get a storm system. Nevertheless I have nothing to complain about. The LORD has been Good as always, and I can not thank Him enough for his goodness and provision for our family. Love, Brittany

Oh and I love Walmart. I ablsolutley love finding a good deal. I have never had a complete matching set of matching pots and pans. When I got married at nineteen, I was given my Grandmothers old ones. To this I was and am still very greatful. They have served their purpose to the utmost. They have worked for what they have been needed for. But I must say most of the teflone is scratched and they are proably not the safest to use any more. I have been eyeing this beautiful blue set by Paula Dean. But I did not want to spend $100.00 on it. I know I am cheap. That is really, rather a great price for a 10 piece, nice set. I had asked Joshua if I budgeted and saved for it if I could get it. Of course he said yes. He is so amazing, I just love him. I still could not buy it but when I went there today it was on a special offer for the weekend at $89.00... So I got it. YAY... And the kids are loving the box that it came in....HEHEHE.... I am not a big noise fan... But we have been laughing pretty hard.

Day at the Park...

Yay, Spring is finally here. Yesterday and today were in the high 50's... It has been absolutley beautiful. The snow is almost completly gone, except for the small piles left in some areas. We have really enjoyed being able to play outside again. This winter was much shorter than the last. We had snow until May. We are just praying that we do not get a surprise blizzard...LOL... They are saying that this summer is going to be a hot one because the spring has come so early. That's fine by us =) The more sun the better.

Tatum is now wearing an eye patch on her right eye. Her left is almost blind. We have taken her to a new eye doctor which I am extremly greatful. The other one told us that she just had a lazy eye that needed to focus better and then she would have better vision. However that was not the case. Our new Doctor says that we have until the age of seven to try to strengthen the vision in her left eye. She has been a real tropper. She even says that she can see things that she was not able to see a couple weeks ago when we first started. She has such a good out look on everything, and is always positive.... She has such an amazing dispasition. Please pray that the great physicain will work in a mighty way.

Elyssa is growning and has such a sweet spirit. She was so sad when Tatum had to get her patch. She has been such a huge supporter and protector of her big sister. She is so sweet and such a blessing to have around!!!

Titus, well he is still growing like a weed. People can not believe that he is not even two yet. He is my little beef cake. And he loves his Daddy. I always thought that having a boy he may favor me. Nope not the case. =) But I have to say that I would not have it any other way. I am glad that Joshua is our kids Hero...

Right now, are plans are to stay home for Resurection Sunday as we will be travling to Tennesse the following weekend for eight days. I am so excited. We will be attened a preaching conference. We are going with some friends of ours. Please pray for Traveling mercies and saftey through out the trip. Joshua and I will be married for seven years on the fifth of April. It has gone so fast. I only pray that we will have many more wonderful years together =)

Hope all is well with everyone may the LORD bless you as we come up on the celebration of our LORD and Savior being crucified and risen from the grave!!!

Love,
Brittany
